Scrap Fabric Easter Eggs

I’m Sarah and I blog at Dwell on JoyHere’s a cute way to Decorate Easter Eggs :: Scrap Fabric Easter Eggs…
You will need:
Large or Small Plastic Easter Eggs {99 cents a pack}
Scrap or Jelly Roll Fabric, cut into thin strips
Hot Glue Gun and glue sticks
Twine if making garland
Hot glue the egg together. Place a zig-zag line of hot glue {about 2 inches at a time} across the egg as shown. Place the strip on the hot glue and pull tight as you press it into the hot glue so the fabric will lie flat.
Continue to hot glue strips of fabric onto the egg in different directions. Overlapping them will give your project an organic feel. Add fabric strips until the plastic no longer shows.
If you’d like to use your eggs to make garland {for your fireplace, perhaps?}, take a thin 1-2 inch strip of fabric and create a loop. Hot glue the loop to the tops of the eggs and string onto twine.
