Kitchen Cabinet Hardware – Vote

Enough kitchen drama, right!?!?  I’m taking a breather from bringing in any contractors for a bit.  I’ll keep using the laundry room sink for now.  My focus today, picking out the accessories.  Kitchen Cabinet  Hardware — want to help me choose!?!   We have been using a piece of masking tape folded in half with an inch extra sticky portion adhered to the drawers and cabinets so we can open the inset doors and drawers without too much effort.

I have loved the way both of my other kitchen remodels have turned out, but want a different hardware than I’ve used in the past.   I used something similar to this modern hardware in my first kitchen remodel.

And on my rancher kitchen remodel, I used  Restoration Hardware, Gilmore Pulls — LOVED them.

I really like the Kane pulls! I’m excited to see which ones you’ll choose!

  2. I like the Westerly. However, I LOVE the Gilmore from Restoration Hardware! Are you sure you don’t want to reconsider???

  3. Lori B. says:

    Hi Amy,

I think either number 2 or 3. And I’m thinking my neighbor may have gotten your same contractor. Or there are one too many dishonest contractors out there. She fortunately was able to stop payment on her checks. So sad that this happens. But your kitchen looks great!

  4. DCWJes says:

I guess I need a refresher on what your appliances look like. I wouldn’t want them to clash too much with the cabinet hardware. That is just me though. I am definitely drawn to #3, though!

  5. Pamela Bolton says:

All are nice but the Mulhulland is my favorite of these three. Is that a brushed nickel finish?

  6. Kim says:

    Love # 2.

  7. Kimberly H says:

Westerly! (I do love the Restoration Hardware Gilmore though!)

  8. Leslie says:

    I like the Mullholland pulls

  9. Angie says:

#2. They look elegant yet sturdy…

  10. Joyce says:

    Definitely the Mulholland

  11. Linda S. says:

I think I will vote for #2, Mulholland. I especially like the pulls, and think they would be easy to grasp for any age group. I honestly like all three of your choices, and am honored that you asked for your reader’s opinions. How the items feel in your hands will be your best determining factor. Good Luck.

  12. I really like the Kane pulls they are smooth and timelessly elegant.

  13. diana hendley says:

my favorite is #3 or 2nd best is #2 but NOT #2 as it has too many groves that will collect grease and grime

  14. diana hendley says:

favorite is #3 – or #l…but NOT #2 as it has too many groves that will collect grease and grime.

  15. Suzanne says:

Westerly! Unique, but so in style!

  16. Debra says:

Love your kitchen so far .. sorry you had the trouble you did. All these handles are beautiful. For years I had those Gilmore pulls chosen for my kitchen but my taste has since changed. I still love them, but I truly love those Westerly pulls. They’re sophisticated and elegant and will go with any style. Good luck on the rest of your kitchen reno.

  17. Charlotte Snodgrass says:

2 Mulholland, they have a more traditional look yet still very sleek and classy. Your kitchen will look great with any of the three.

I like #1in the burnished bronze but I do think the nickel would look better on your white. We’re right at this stage with our cabinets (most cabinets are dark but my island is off-white) and are thinking of something like the Restoration Hardware ones you had. I’m curious if the handles mark/indent the wood, making it impossible to replace later, with say, 1 or 2? We’re really trying for a classic look as we intend to stay here forever and want the kitchen to stand the test of time, and those are actually kind of trendy so I’m not sure…

  20. Amy J says:

Any of them would look fabulous. So hard to decide! But I think I like the Kane pulls just a little bit more than the other two. Just a bit. : )

  21. Sandy says:

Westerly pulls #3. I like their smoothness. We used all pulls on our kitchen remodel. So much easier on the grip as one matures. Whatever you choose will be perfect. Love, love, love your new kitchen. Sorry for your “interruptions.”

  22. #2 for sure, they are gorgeous. I am also loving the new brass ones I keep seeing in all the new kitchens. They are stunning.

  23. Vintage Quilter says:

I think the Mulholland Pulls would look great.

  24. Lisa W. says:

They are all beautiful but I would choose #2!

  25. erin says:

mulholland…. well actually i love them all. you chose some good ones!

  26. Mulholland. Love the lines.

  27. Anna says:

    Second option, Mulholland. Love them.
