Helpful Tips for Gifting

One more week until Christmas!  I finished shopping for my family and their gifts are wrapped under the tree, but there were a few more gifts to buy for close friends and loved ones!  Recently, HomeGoods partnered with Abby Larson of Style me Pretty, and she shared her helpful tips for gifting!  I took her list with me to HomeGoods and finished checking off my list completely!!!  Yay!!!  The next week is for sipping hot chocolate, reading Christmas stories, and decorating cookies!

Think Packaging.

A great brownie recipe can be included with a pretty mixing bowl and rubber spatula. A gorgeous basket with a set of dish towels could be the perfect accessory to your grandmother’s blueberry muffins or a pretty stocking could be the prettiest gift bag for a box of fine chocolates.

Gift Little Luxuries.

Give an Invitation.

A pair of pretty champagne glasses can be an invitation to come share a glass.

Consider the Recipient.

Really think about the recipient and how you can make something that they like, even more special. A home chef might love a pretty marble cheeseboard. Especially if the cheeseboard came with a bottle of great wine!
