New England Traditional House Tour

It’s time for another Dreamy Dwelling Home Tour.  This classic 1930s New England home is a timeless home that has been tastefully remodeled by “How I Met Your Mother” star Alyson Hannigan and her husband Alexis Denisof, star of “Grimm.” The original character and charm has been beautifully retained.  Let’s not wait another second to walk through this New England Traditional House Tour.

Sun-filled entry with beautiful refinished wood floors that begin in the foyer and continue throughout the main living areas.

I’m loving this little kitchen nook with vintage lighting, a traditional hutch full of white dishes, and a chalkboard with adorable chalkboard art.

A beautiful rock fireplace offers warmth.

Beautiful chesterfield sofa and wing back chairs.  I’m always looking for different ways to decorate my coffee table.  I love this simple style.

The dining room is spacious with window seats on two walls and a large table with seating for eight.  Loving the slipcover chairs around the table and the collection of vases filled with tulips makes a perfect centerpiece.

A remodeled kitchen featuring new appliances, marble countertops, a farmhouse-style sink and lovely lighting fixtures.

Built-in bookcases with the glamour of crown molding and French doors.

Expansive grounds, mature trees, and lovely gardens.

An amazing craft room with vaulted ceilings with skylights and a wall of French doors adjacent to the pool.

Three upstairs suites include a master suite with a private terrace and fireplace.

I love the built-in niche in the master bathroom.

The simplicity in this bedroom is so dreamy.

Another sitting room with tons of lighting and french doors.

Blue-stone patio and a Hollywood-caliber pool.

Which is your favorite room in this house?

Love the open shelves in the kitchen and of course the beautiful copper they have displayed. Beautiful dining room and who wouldn’t love multiple sitting rooms.
